Senior Data Engineering Architect
Provide enterprise-level architectural solutions for applications using MS Stack technologies/concepts. Assess business requirements and provide design leadership to address impact analysis to process flows, systems, and applications. Technically lead and mentor Data Architects & Engineers building end to end Enterprise Data & BI solutions. Review project infrastructure including repositories, codebase frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. Evaluate technical solutions proposed by Data Architects/Technical Leads/Senior Developers. Conduct Technical PoCs on Power BI technology. Assist in resolving technical blockers and ensure that the team follows the defined guidelines. Lead Project Implementations, handle enterprise-wide deployments and implement best practices for production environment. Collaborate with business users, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the key metrics, data, and insights required for the dashboards and reports. Identify business trends, anomalies and add insights. Implement dimensional modelling principles, security, DAX, Power Query Transformations and Power BI Dataflows. Approve the Release Management Scheduling. Accountable for execution of deliveries of projects to agreed time/cost/quality parameters. Work with other data science and analytics teams to create and implement data strategies, design data pipelines, and develop data models and data products. Perform Periodic Meetings with customers to keep the CSAT at the highest level. Review Quality, Financials, Deliverables and Opportunities for all the accounts. Build required reusable components and build the required process to manage the quality, deliverables, and financials at the optimum level. Create capability pools to meet forecasted demand. Provide Pre-Sales Support to Business Development Team. Conduct Business Intelligence and Dashboard Orientation Trainings for business users to increase adoption of BI/data tools. May require travel/relocation to unanticipated work locations within the USA.
Require bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, computer/management information systems, business administration/management, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered, software engineer/developer, data engineering analyst/developer/architect, assistant manager–business/data analytics, or related field.
Experience to include 5 years’ experience in BI Tools, Microsoft Power BI, with in-depth development experience with Azure & Snowflake Databases. Require specific skills such as Microsoft Power BI & Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Service Administration, Power BI Cmdlets for Powershell, SQL, Azure, Snowflake, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Multi-Dimensional Expressions (MDX), Power Query (M Language), Power BI Dataflows, MSBI – SSAS, SSRS & SSIS. Proficiency in Data Modelling, Row Level Security (RLS), Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Power Query, Power BI Dataflows and Power BI Service Administration. Ability to plan and execute assignments end to end, delivery plans, and manage dependencies with other teams. Skill in designing and execution of analytical projects. Experience in developing & managing large data sets in Power BI. Experience in working on complex reporting/data visualization requirements using Microsoft Power BI. Must have strong SQL & Data Warehouse Fundamentals. Must be an analytical thinker, with a strong design sense, and understand implications of the various design options available for a given visualization. Experience in working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2, Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI Premium, Power BI Paginated Reports, and Azure DevOps. Experience in migration projects converting SSRS reports, Qlik/Tableau reports to Power BI reports. Experience with Agile methodology and project management is a must.
